Shmuel Charuvi : The Botanist's Brush

Une délicatesse infinie, associée à une grande précision. De 1923 à 1927 le peintre Shmuel Charuvi a travaillé avec le botaniste Ephraim Hareuveni à la réalisation d'une Encyclopédie botanique. On s'émerveille de la finesse du trait comme de celle des observations.

En janvier 2006 à Jérusalem on pouvait voir ses aquarelles, lors d'une exposition au Musée d'Israël (qui propose ce livre) : « Botanical Treasury of the Land of Israel ».
